Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 14, 2026

At Daimon ("we," "us," "our"), your privacy is fundamental to our mission. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your information when you use our AI agent platform at daimon.com and related services (the "Service").

1. Information We Collect

Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored as a bcrypt hash — we never store your plaintext password).

Payment Information: If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment details are collected and processed by Stripe, Inc. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription status — never your credit card number.

Agent Interaction Data: Chat messages, task instructions, and conversation history between you and your AI agent are stored to provide the Service. This may include emails you ask your agent to draft, calendar events, research results, and other task outputs.

Connected App Data: When you connect third-party apps (email, calendar, CRM, etc.) through integrations, your agent accesses data from those services on your behalf. This data is processed in your isolated container and is not shared across users.

Usage Data: We collect anonymized usage metrics (task counts, feature usage, error rates) to improve the Service. We also collect standard web analytics (page views, referral source) and technical data (browser type, IP address).

2. How We Store and Protect Your Data

Encryption: All data is encrypted in transit (TLS 1.3) and at rest (AES-256). API keys you provide (e.g., BYO keys for AI models) are encrypted with per-user keys before storage.

Isolation: Each user's AI agent runs in an isolated container environment. Your data, configuration, and connected credentials are never accessible to other users or their agents.

Access Controls: Access to production systems is restricted to authorized personnel with multi-factor authentication. We follow the principle of least privilege.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide, maintain, and improve the Service
  • To process your transactions and manage your subscription
  • To send transactional emails (welcome, password reset, billing receipts)
  • To respond to support requests
  • To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats

We do not:

  • Sell your personal data to third parties
  • Use your conversations or data to train AI models
  • Share your data with advertisers
  • Access your connected app data except to deliver the Service

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate the platform:

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your account data and conversation history for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing privacy@daimon.com or through your account settings.

Upon account deletion:

  • Your agent container is destroyed
  • All conversation history is permanently deleted
  • Connected app credentials are revoked and deleted
  • Account data is purged within 30 days
  • Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained

6. Cookies

We use essential cookies for authentication (session tokens) and preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies. Analytics cookies (if used) are anonymized and can be disabled in your browser settings.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Export your data in a portable format
  • Object to or restrict certain processing

To exercise these rights, contact privacy@daimon.com.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
